Diigo
Diigo is a website that allows you to bookmark any website, or article; categorize it, and annotate it. You can save your bookmarks, create notes on them to save for later. It is a must have resource for any research project. It is an awesome tool for teachers, students, or anyone who wants to organize online content. Diigo is available as a Google Chrome extension for you computer or you can go through the app to access website if you wanted to annotate on an iphone or ipad. I haven't tried it out on other devices but I know it's available on multiple platforms.

Webjets

Webjets is a one stop shop place to gather information. Create boards, lists, mind maps, folders, or link resources all in one place. Webjets allows you to quickly brainstorm topics and ideas by searching the internet and dragging your findings onto a board. Here you can easily organize your thoughts, images, videos and links. Educators can use this as a tool for students to work on research projects.
Students can create their own boards and share them in a LMS via an attached link. Teaches can create boards with resources they wish to share with students. Use it to provide specific links and information relevant to what you are teaching. Use it as a platform to share content that keeps students accountable for reaching websites that have accurate or reputable content. |

Although Padlet Is a tool that is great for brainstorming in a group setting, It is also a great tool to use for research, Padlet allows you to choose several ways to set up and deliver content. Use it for research by having students create their own walls to organize their content and share their ideas with their teachers. The comment features make it easy to communicate and guide students in the right direction.
